The Buffalo Zoo offers a wide variety of events throughout the year. Choose from free events, which are included with your paid admission or fee-based events. Most of our events offer an educational component, a program-appropriate craft and animal demonstrations. June 14
High Five for the Military!
 The Buffalo Zoo is offering a "High Five For the Military" discount on the following dates in 2013:
Flag Day (June 14)
Independence Day (July 4)
Veterans Day (November 11)
Members of the United States military and up to four additional guests will be admitted to the Zoo for a total of $5.00. A valid military ID must be presented at the admission gates to receive discount. The Buffalo Zoo thanks you for your service!

Dad’s Dollar Day at the Zoo

Party for the Planet
Presented by the WNY Earth Day Committee

Zooper Saturday
(Featuring the Indian rhino and Delta Sonic Heritage Farm animals)
 Learn about the Buffalo Zoo's endangered Indian rhinos, and then be sure to stop in to say hello to the animals at the Delta Sonic Heritage Farm for their first ever barn party! The event runs from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and is free with Zoo admission. The rhinos will be featured from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., and the Delta Sonic Heritage Farm animals will be featured from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Please call the Events Coordinator at (716) 995-6133 or visit www.buffalozoo.org for more information.

WINES IN THE WILD 2013 - You’re In For A Wild Night
Don’t delay, this event sells out, tickets are on sale NOW!
 On Wednesday, July 24th, the Pro Zoo Board and the Women’s Board will host the annual Wines in the Wild event at the Buffalo Zoo For only $45 pre-sale, $55 at the door, your ticket includes a variety of food and dessert items, wines and beers, along with some great specialty services vendors.
We also offer a VIP ticket which will allow you one hour early entry, goodie bag and champagne toast at a cost of $100. Only 100 VIP tickets will be sold. Live music and visits from some of your favorite animal ambassadors will highlight the evening. Enjoy a balmy summer evening in one of the most unique environments around as you try your luck at our fantastic basket & silent auctions. This event takes place from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.., rain or shine.
Guests MUST BE at least 21 years or older
The more the merrier, so bring your friends and neighbors to enjoy this wonderful, casual, evening to benefit the Zoo’s Adopt an Animal program. 2013 Buffalo Zoo Photo Contest
 Take your best shot at the Buffalo Zoo this year and enter in our Photo Contest. You may win a place in the Women’s Board annual calendar. Best of Show wins the calendar cover!
