It’s a fact of life! We all use some form of power to run the things we need to live our lives. Each time we do, fossil fuels are burned to generate that power. Carbon dioxide (CO2) and other greenhouse gasses are given off when fuel is burned. These gasses contribute to the climate changes that are happening across the globe, including melting sea ice that is critical to polar bear survival.
Here are some simple ways we can all slow climate change, help save polar bears and save money on our gas/electric bills at the same time. Click here for list. Simply choose as many ways to reduce your household’s “carbon footprint” as possible from the list below to earn polar bear points, register your household and carry out your promise to do your part. All registered households will be entered into a monthly raffle for great prizes.
